Number bump games are designed for little learners to play in pairs and will help to develop numeral recognition and the skill of subitising – knowing how many there are without counting.

Each game board features numbers from 1-6 in different themes including race cars, under the sea, pirates, superheros, cupcakes, space, robots and construction. There’s something to suit the interests of all of your little learners!

Simply print off a board game for each pair of little learners. Each child should have a set of 10 counters each (one colour per child). The first child should roll the dice and cover that numeral on their game board. If they roll it again, they can add another counter to ‘lock’ the number. If their partner rolls that number, they can knock the other child’s counter off and replace it with their own. The winner is the first person to use all of their counters!
