Dramatic Play is a great way to develop oral language skills, cooperation, content vocabulary and social skills in your early childhood classroom!
Use this packet to set up a Coffee Shop in your learning space. It doesn’t need to cost a lot of money, in fact you probably have a lot of resources already around the classroom or home that you can use! You might even like to ask your students to help collect objects they can use!
In order to save you some time preparing signs, labels and printables for your imaginative play, I’ve created a bunch of wonderful printables ready to use in your Coffee Shop role-play area!
Included in this packet:
x Open and closed signs
x Opening hours sign
x Foldable food/snack signs x 2
x Utensil labels (napkins, spoons, menus, straws)
x Extra labels (caramel, milk, sugar, marshmallows, chocolate powder, cream)

As you can see, there is a lot included!! You may choose to use all of the printables or you may select just a few. You might even like to encourage your Little Learners to help create additional items for your shop depending on their age!
As your students play and imagine, they will be building fantastic content-specific vocabulary!
Please be sure to look at the preview images to see exactly what’s included.
Happy playful learning!
