These beginning sound picture sorts are a great way to review letters and sounds! Your Kindergarten and Preschool kids will love sorting the pictures based on their beginning sound!

When creating this resource, I wanted to pair up letters and sounds that are often confused. For example, many of my little learners often confuse the letters P and B so I’ve paired them together. I’ve also paired up some beginning vowel sounds because those can be tricky for little learners too!

These picture sorts and a simple, fun activity to include during your literacy groups, reading rotations and rotations! They would also be perfect for independent phonics work and whole class instruction!
