This week I am sharing a fun recipe for cloud dough! It’s super easy to make but quite messy so make. Be sure you do this activity outside where it’s easy to clean up!

What you’ll need:

  • 8 cups of plain flour
  • 1 cup of baby oil

Simply mix the flour with the baby oil until it is well combined and you’re finished! I didn’t have any baby oil so I used olive oil from the pantry and it worked just fine. I would like to try adding some food colouring next time. I only have the water based colours so I’m not sure how they will work!

We experimented with some containers and made little towers which Miss 14 months enjoyed knocking over. It was a lot of fun for the both of us! I also added some plastic creepy crawlies which she enjoyed playing with.

Overall, this was a really fun sensory activity! It was incredibly messy but I just used a broom and swept it all onto the lawn.
