I have printed these posters in A5 size and displayed them in my office for my 9 month old. I know, I know, I’m starting very early but there’s no harm in having a literacy rich environment from the get go.
Now that I’m a stay at home mum, I sometimes wonder what type of products I could be creating. As some of you might know, my Mum is a teacher too (check out her blog here) so she often gives me ideas for new products when she talks about what she is up to in her classroom. She asked me to make an A4 alphabet poster featuring both short and long vowel sounds that she could blow up for her room and so these chevron alphabet charts were born!
The set includes 31 individual A4 sized alphabet charts for each letter of the alphabet (two for each vowel with the short and long sound) ready for you to display in your classroom or home. I also included the A4 printout which my Mum is blowing up to A2 size to display in her classroom. You could also use this in your writing centre or during Work on Writing (Daily 5).
