I must apologise in advance – I have been missing in action for almost an entire month! However, there has been a pretty good reason for my absence….
Hubby and I will be having a baby in July 2014!! We couldn’t be more excited =D
We had planned to keep it all under wraps until Christmas when we reached the 12 week milestone but we have been so excited and have told anybody that will listen already! The first trimester has been absolutely exhausting – I am already a pretty tired person so I actually feel like I’ve been run over by a train or maybe even two. I have been lucky though and haven’t experienced any morning sickness yet – just the occasional bit of nausea here and there.
I decided to be upfront and honest with my school (as I am on a term by term contract) but I ended up losing my contract for next year – at first I was a bit upset but now I am excited to be able to do relief teaching until May/June next year. This baby has been wanted for a very long time so I am looking forward to taking it slow and enjoying every little bit of this exciting journey!
