Today I would like to share a little rhyming activity that I prepared for my class before the holidays. We were winding up our unit on rhyming so I wanted a fun activity to finish the unit off with. My kids have always loved Write the Room activities so I made some flashcards and posted them around the classroom. Each student had a recording sheet and had to write the two matching rhyming words together. Even my lower kids were able to find success in this activity, it just took them a little longer to copy the words down.

In the packet, I also included another version of the activity with just 5 flashcards rather than 10. In this version, students would only need to locate the flashcard that matched the word on their sheet.

I hope your class of kiddies enjoy this activity as much as mine did! Click on any image from this post to be taken to the product in my TPT store.
