Explore early learning concepts with this fun cut and paste sorting packet. Your little learners will review colours, shapes, numbers, letters and more! This set is also a wonderful way for your little learners to practise early cutting skills!
The packet includes 16 sorting activities with their matching cut and paste sheets!
What concepts are included?
- Sorting colours
- Sorting 2D shapes
- Sorting number representations x 2
- Sorting animals by habitat
- Sorting items that particular jobs use (like bakers and teachers)
- Sorting letters by upper-case and lower-case x 5
- Sorting heavy and light
- Sorting living and non-living
- Sorting animals and plants
- Sorting clothes and toys
- Sorting fruit and vegetables
The activity sheets are one-to-a-page and the matching cut and paste sheets are two-to-a-page to help save on copying costs. I’ve also included both colour and B&W versions of each sheet!
Your little learners can simply cut out the pictures and sort them into the right boxes on the corresponding activity sheet. Not only is this a great way to develop fine motor skills, it’s also a wonderful assessment tool.
You might even like to laminate the activities so they can be reused over and over!
Pop the activity sheet onto a cookie sheet and then add magnets to the backs of the cut and paste cards. Your little learners will then be able to sort the pictures over and over!
After completing the activities in this packet, your little learners will have practised cutting skills and revised key curriculum concepts in a fun and engaging way!
While I design my resources with Australian students in mind, I also include alternative spelling for American students too.
